R-Lube® Self-Lubricating Bearings

R-Lube® (SAE 841) powdered metal bearings are ideal for applications that call for wear-resistant components. Self-lubricating powdered metal bearings are made by blending powders, shaping the mixture to a required size, and heating it to bond the particles in order to obtain the desired properties. The next step is to size the part, which involves putting it back into a die, similar to the one originally used to press it. Finally, the bearing is then oil-impregnated for lubrication or corrosive resistance. Standard R-Lube® sizes operate in temperatures ranging from 10º F to 220º F. All R-Lube® bearings conform to ASTM standards. Reliable Bronze has an extensive inventory of over 1400 sizes.

R-Lube® Sleeve Bearing Maintenance Kit

Reliable Bronze & Mfg., Inc. offers an R-Lube® sleeve bearing maintenance kit. This handy 45-piece assortment includes thirteen of the most popular bearing sizes. Sizes range from 1/4″ I.D. x 5/16″ O.D. to 1″ I.D. x 1 1/4 O.D., in lengths from 3/4″ to 2 7/8″. A reference chart is included for easy identification. This kit is housed in a conveniently compartmentalized plastic box.
